You all guys have probably heard about dark web but not have that much information about it.
So here I will explain the definition of Dark Net or Dark Web and define its working.
First of all, Web is divided into three categories – Surface Web, Deep Web and lastly Dark Web.
1. Surface Web
It is the simplest form of internet that you all use with your phone or computer. It has millions of websites and many web apps to use.

2. Deep Web
It is the form of internet which is hidden from the users but is accessed by Corporates and companies which use internet to store their data. Some examples of such companies are Google, Facebook, Apple and so on.
It is also used by governments to store their financial data and the academic data of schools and universities.
These companies store their data and the information they collect from us in this part of web.The data of Amazon, Flipkart, Google Drive, Instagram, etc. also get stored here.
Only people associated with such companies can access this data and this part of web. It is far from the reach of normal customer.
Some hackers had been able to get into this data part of companies.
3. Dark Web
Dark Web is the most controversial part of the internet. It is very hidden from everyone that even some governments are unable to pass its security.
Like an onion, it has many layers of security. These layers are called privacy logs.Due to it, the domain extension of Dark Web websites use .onion instead of .com or .in .
Accessing these websites might be a tough task but TOR browser has made it easy. TOR uses many different types of logs to connect to the onion network and it automatically hides the user’s IP address and protects user from tracking by ISP and government.
TOR is not illegal in most of the countries but the Dark Web is house to many illegal activities such as hacking.
So I do not recommend using Dark Web as it may open you to many hackers roaming around the dark web.
