Upcoming iPhone 2019 : what to expect ?

It is about in the middle of 2019 and the next iPhone is supposed to be launch in September of this year. So, what new features are coming in the new iPhone.

 Firstly, the 2019 series of iPhone is rumoured to be named iPhone XI which is iPhone 11.


1. Display

The new iPhone XI series is rumoured to have the same display size as the previous generation. Which means display sizes :
iPhone XI – 5.8 inches OLED (super retina)
iPhone XI Max – 6.5 inches OLED (super retina)
iPhone XI R – 6.1 inches LCD (liquid retina)
The notch size will be slightly reduced

2. Processor






It is expected to launch with the latest and greatest mobile chip from Apple, the Apple A13 Omega. It will be manufactured on the advanced 7nm transistor technology and will use ultraviolet lithography process. This chip will be the fastest and most powerful mobile processor. It will also feature Apple made custom 6 core GPU which will help in better gaming performance. It will include Intel made mobile 4g modem.


3. RAM

2019 iPhones all are rumoured to have 4GB RAM which is same for XI and XI Max but 1GB greater for XI R than its predecessor. This RAM coupled with Apple A13 Omega will make new iPhone very powerful.

4. Camera

Cameras are definitely improving in the upcoming iPhones. There will be a three camera system on the back of the new iPhone. This will include a 12 MP regular camera, a 12 MP two times zoom camera and a possible 14 MP Ultrawide camera. The XI R model will not have the third Ultrawide camera. All the cameras will be optically stabilized. There will be new advancements in the image processing with the A13 chip. Image quality and resolution will be improved.

5. Design

There is no major improvement in terms of design but a few changes here and there. Firstly, the mute slider will be vertical instead of horizontal. Secondly, the camera bump will be coloured as same as the body of the phone. Thirdly, the screen bezels(boarders) will get thinner and lastly, the whole back of the iPhone will be one single piece of glass and the camera module will be bigger to accomodate the three camera setup.

6. Battery

The battery of the new iPhone will get bigger according to some reports. The battery could be for smaller XI model while it could reach upto 3500 mAh for Max. This increase will be to accomodate the new wireless charge share feature.

7. Other features

Other features that could make into new iPhones are:
• Wireless charge share
• New software dark mode
• Possible support for Apple pencil
• 18 Watt fast charger in the box
• 3D sensing technology for better VR and AR capabilities

Price is expected to be same as iPhone Xs and XR series
