Fitness Bands : Explained and some good deals.

Nowadays, people especially youngsters are more concerned towards their fitness and they are working hard for thier fitness and health. For maintaining their fitness, people require to count their calorie intake, blood pressure, heart rate, etc. These all works can be done with a single device which can be wore on your wrist which we know as fitness band.

Working and features

Fitness bands are wrist fitting devices which measures different quantities related to our body fitness. The sensors work with one another jointly and provide the data we need. Some of the sensors are explained below :

Step Counter :

This sensor works with accelerometer and gyroscope present in the band and provide us the data related to steps we have walked. It counts the number of steps done and also provide us the distance we have walked. It also proide a rough average of calories which we burn while walking.

Calorie Counter :

It works in conjunction with your smartphone. You have to download any fitness band supported food calorie counter app in your phone and you have to fill in the food name which you eat. It will automatically count your calorie intake. It can also count calories burnt during exercise. All the data will be shown on your fitness band.

Blood Pressure Metre :

This sensor measures the pressure of the blood flowing in your veins. The sensor is located at the back of the band. It touches your skin and measures your blood pressure. This sensor is not found in many fitness bands. It is mostly available in high-end expensive bands.

Heart Rate Monitor :

This sensor works just like Blood Pressure Metre but it is available in most of the fitness bands and can be even found in cheap bands around Rs.2000 . This sensor has helped many atheletes and even saved the lives of many people.
