The Image Stabilization
Before the introduction of image stabilization, images came out blurry when phone was moved during photo capture. Image stabilization was introduced to overcome this problem.
Image Stabilization is of two types:
1. OIS
A special mechanism around the camera prevents the camera to shake and prevent blurry images/videos. This mechanism involves surrounding the camera with magnets.
2. EIS
Software is used to crop image/video and make it less blurry.
Multiple Camera System
Due to powerful IP, Smartphone processors can now handle multiple cameras. The first popular dual rear camera smartphone was ‘iPhone 7 plus’which introduced portrait mode and portrait photos for the first time in a smartphone.
